2022 Kamloops Dragon Boat Festival

This year, the event will be held at Riverside Park on August 6. There will be a grassy, shaded paddlers’ village with lots of new updates done by the City of Kamloops in the park. The early bird rate will be $850 until June 17, 2022. After this, the cost will be $950. The festival will include racing on a river, going under a bridge, paddling in four 500-metre races and participating in a Guts and Glory race!If needed or desired, the Festival can provide steersmen for teams that do not have experience paddling in a river as well as practice session opportunities on August 5 for FREE.As for the entertainment, the 2022 Kamloops Ribfest, a beer garden and Music in the Park will be there! If you are coming with kids, check out the new spray park in Kids Zone. If you are a fan of fancy cars, visit the Hot Nite in the City Car Show and Shine in Downtown Kamloops nearby. There will be something for everyone!
