2024 | Opera Under the Stars

Join us in at UBC’s Okanagan campus for an outdoor evening concert featuring a quartet of professional opera singers. Our artists will perform favourite songs from well-known operas, as well as music of other genres and perhaps a surprise performance or two!
Bring your favourite blanket or festival chairs and settle on the lawn for a glorious evening under the stars. Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic and refreshments, but no outside alchohol is permitted on site.

Site opens at 6:30 pm
NEW LOCATION: Commons Field
Performance begins at 8:00 pm and will run a little over one hour.
Refreshments: NEW this year! Midtown Station Food + Drink has prepared picnic boxes that you can pre-order with your registration, and pick up when you arrive. (details below). NOTE: there will be no food trucks on site this year.
Parking: Parking will be free across campus beginning at 6:00 pm.
Accessibility needs? Golf cart transport will be available from the parking lots E, F and H. Please ensure you arrive early if you require this special service as there may be a wait. If you have accessibility questions, please email operations@operakelowna.com.
Washrooms are available throughout the evening in the Arts and Admin buildings.
