Description
The 25th annual Penticton Dragon Boat Festival will be held on September 12 & 13, 2026. Held over two days on the second weekend in September, the racing happens on Skaha Lake in beautiful, sunny, Penticton, British Columbia, Canada. Our vendors market, food trucks and beverage garden will be back. Plus the best festival site in BC — a sandy beach and a race that’s visible for the entire race course — and a large grassy area under the trees for team tents. 2000+ Athletes Vendors Village Beverage Garden Food Trucks Races visible from the beach!

The Penticton Paddle Sports Association (PPSA) is a non-profit organization based at the Skaha Lake boathouse, offering dragon boat and outrigger canoe programs for all ages and skill levels. Formed in 2023, it provides recreational and competitive training, coaching clinics, and hosts major events like the Penticton Dragon Boat Festival and Duel in the Desert.
