A Visionary Space

Join Toronto-based artist Nadijah Robinson at the Kamloops Art Gallery for a five-day artist residency program for youth.This March break, Toronto-based artist and educator Nadijah Robinson joins us at the Kamloops Art Gallery to lead a residency program for youth called, A Visionary Space .Throughout the week, participating youth will work together with Robinson to create a collaborative mixed-media artwork, incorporating their individual and shared utopian visions. They will use sewing, collage and printmaking to create images of a space where everything we need is tangible and available.Artwork created during A Visionary Space will be presented in an exhibition April 9 to June 27, 2020 and in a small publication created in collaboration with the artists.No previous art-making experience is required and all materials will be provided.
