Annual General Meeting
Please join us at the Greater Vernon Museum & Archives for the Society’s Annual General Meeting on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 6:30-7:30 PM PST.
The purpose of the AGM is to give members a report on our society’s activities and finances for the previous year, and to formally elect board members to serve for the coming year. This meeting is also being held to comply with the requirement to present the previous year’s financial statements is a timely manner.
We will have a short formal meeting to present the reports and the financials and have an election for new Board members who have already been through the selection process. We’re asking for one hour of your time so that we can comply with the legal requirements of the Society Act of British Columbia.
The AGM will be held at the Greater Vernon Museum & Archives building at 3009 – 32 Avenue, Vernon. Doors will open at 6:00pm.
