Artist Lecture Series: Crystal Przybille

Artist Lecture Series: Crystal Przybille
Join Crystal Przybille for a talk about the in-depth process she undertook to gain the understanding required to create the chief swkn’cut Monument. The chief swkn’cut Monument was commissioned by Westbank First Nation, and was unveiled on National Aboriginal Day, in 2019. Her study included experiential, oral, and text-based research, and engagement with members of the syilx community. The process was a unique and valuable learning experience in Settler/Indigenous relations and an effort in reconciliation.
