Ballet Kelowna is once again offering a preview of the season’s dancers and upcoming performances at our sixth annual Launch event at Culture Days, Friday, September 27 from 7:00 – 8:00pm. Hosted by Artistic Director and CEO Simone Orlando, this event is open to the public and provides a unique opportunity to get ‘up-close-and-personal’ with Ballet Kelowna.Launch is a one-hour informal showing that will preview new work from Ballet Kelowna’s 2019/20 season and provide a glimpse into the Company’s daily training, rehearsals, and the choreographic process. Attendees will enjoy excerpts from MAMBO and Other Works, a mixed program that will tour BC this season, plus excerpts of a new work by choreographer Heather Dotto.This event is free.
