After a huge show on September 13, Big West returns with an annual favorite that’s been given an EXTREME makeover: this year’s “K5” Medallion will not be contested in a Ladder Match, but in Big West’s first ever “Crash To Pass” Match. What does that mean? It means you need to put your opponents through SOMETHING: a table, a door, who knows what blood-curdling and bone-breaking items will be on hand? Last person standing is the winner of the medallion that literally is your “money in the bank” when it comes to a Television Title shot whenever you desire.K5 MEDALLION ~ “CRASH TO PASS” MATCH:Camaro Cope vs. Danni Deeds. vs. Michael More vs. Scarlett Black vs. Slave—All five are former Big West Television Champions, all five are integral to the very fabric of the Okanagan Wrestling scene…and two (More and Black) have won the K5 Medallion once before. Since it’s inception, EVERYONE that has won the K5 has cashed in and become Television Champion; winning this match is almost a guarantee that you will once again reach the Big West mountain-top! FOR THE BIG WEST TELEVISION TITLE:Davey Deals (c) vs. Todd Quality—Deals barely survived his match with Braydon Goss on September 13, and he’s not getting any rest as the man with the “OG” Title. He faces a man having a career resurgence in the Okanagan and beyond…plus Quality is one of the toughest men in the game today. INTERGENDER TAG TEAM GRUDGE MATCH:Jade & Ryan Orion vs. Marty Sugar & Rylee—Jade and Ryan have major issues with both Rylee and Marty, so why not throw all four of them into a match and see what happens? Orion just walked out of Rutland with the most amazing debut victory in years…but he’s facing two people that would LOVE to put him in his place. FOR THE “SELF-PROFESSED” TELEVISION TITLE:Ace Redmann, Jr. (c)* vs. Braydon Goss—Goss had the “OG” Television Title in hand on September 13, when Ace assaulted Deals and cost Braydon the match by DQ. Not to be outdone, Goss beat the tar out of Redmann on the floor, and has demanded a match with the man in possession of the Big Red Belt. Ace isn’t one to back down from a fight, but he might kicked up a serious hornet’s nest this time around. FOR THE THRASH WRESTLING TITLE:Jayce D’Arcy (c) vs. Chucky Lee Ray—Jayce had a thrilling title defense against Camaro Cope on September 13, and has several more title defenses lined up before October 25. If he’s still Champion, he faces the “ultimate underdog” and one of the most-loved wrestlers in the Okanagan…and a guy who’s shown he can beat Jayce. New Champion in Rutland, maybe? Plus rumour has it that Dane Rupert and Collin Cutler might have more issues to work through, after their altercation on September 13!GENERAL ADMISSION: $10 Advance ($12 at the door) FAMILY FOUR-PACK: $30 Advance ($40 at the door)ADVANCE TICKET LOCATIONS: Players Choice Sports (470 Cawston)Kelowna Barber Shop (2650 Pandosy)or via the Eventbrite link listed here!
