Botanical Printing on Yarn

Join us for a day of learning about Botanical Dying and Printing with Skimikin Studios. In this workshop you will dye 1 sock blank ( a machine-knit skein of sock yarn,) with botanical materials such as maple leaves, plum leaves, marigold, and logwood. We will take you through the process and discuss what makes natural or botanical dyes colour, wash, and light fast.$115 – materials and tax included. Additional Sock Blanks may be available for purchase. Saturday, September 1410am – 3pm(ish).
