Casting for a Cause – Fishing Derby

<p>Join Bruker Marina on Kamloops Lake June 15th from 7am-4pm for the first annual “Casting for a Cause” fishing derby, with all proceeds going to the Alzheimer Society! <br />Derby Kickoff, June 14th starting at 5:30pm. Held at Match Eatery in Cascades Casino with lots of giveaways! <br />Fishing Derby is June 15th 2024 from 7am – 4pm <br />Fishing must take place within Kamloops Lake from the western edge of Tranquille to Savona. <br />Boat launching times will be assigned after registration closes. <br />Fish eligible for winning are Rainbow trout and Bull Trout ONLY. <br />Registration is not confirmed until payment has been received. You will receive an email once your registration has been processed. <br />Winner will be announced at 4:30pm on the beach at Bruker Marina. <br />Registrants must have a valid fishing license on the day of the event. Winners may be asked to produce their fishing license to be able to accept their prize. <br />Those who are hoping to launch early and leave their boat at the marina overnight will be required to show proof of insurance for the boat.</p>
