Celebrating Community: KCR’s 40th Anniversary

What do Ukrainian dancers, Japanese Taiko drumming and Cree Hoop Dancing have in common? They are clearly at the heart of cultural expression, and they will also be part of the diverse experiences that will amaze and inspire the audience at KCR Community Resources 40th Anniversary Celebration. For the first time ever, KCR is hosting a gala dinner and we welcome the community to join us as to celebrate culture and to raise funds for the incredible programs that KCR offers to meet the community, family and individual needs.
The evening will also offer heart-warming, full-circle moments of impact shared by participants of KCR and an amazing international feast curated by Chef Neil Martens and his 19 Okanagan culinary team, with the support of Peter’s Your Independent Grocer. Delicious bites will include Tinga Chicken Tostada, Madras Curry, Beef Bourguignon, Israeli Couscous and Filipino Adobo.
