Children’s Art Festival

<p>Running for over 22 years, the Kamloops Children’s Arts Festival is a fun-filled, creative day of artistic, musical and theatrical activities and performances for children ages 2 to 12. The entire day is FREE for children and their families. <br />This spectacular festival is back for 2024! This year’s festival will feature all those loved activities from previous years – workshops, storytelling, magic, and performances from local groups! It is going to be a festival filled with fun. <br />Check out this year’s festival day happening September 21st from 10 am to 4pm at Riverside Park and festival workshops happening September 20th. <br />Thanks to our supporters, the Children’s Arts Festival is 100% free to the public. This means we see a wide cross-section of the community, including children and families who may not otherwise be able to afford to participate in extracurricular arts activities. <br />Participating in the arts can have a tremendous impact on developmental growth. Learning artistic skills strengthens problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. It’s also a lot of fun – maybe too much fun for some!</p>
