Children’s Arts Festival
Free Fun Fantastics at Children’s Arts Festival
Celebrate Kamloops landscapes, from Rivers to Rainbows, on September 17, 2022
Kamloops, BC – Running for over 23 years, the Children’s Arts Festival, hosted by the Kamloops Arts Council (KAC), is happening this fall at Riverside Park. The festival gives all children in the Kamloops area, ages 2 and up, the chance to try out different art forms. Unlike the majority of kids’ festivals in the province, thanks to sponsors and supporters, the event is completely free.
This year’s theme is “Rivers to Rainbows” which means the KAC is all about celebrating the water, earth, and sky around us. Crafts and activities are encouraged to be provided with recycled material.
On Saturday, September 17 from 10 am to 4 pm, families can enjoy a full day of FREE arts activities and performances at Riverside Park. Activities and performers will be announced soon, so stay tuned!
Be a part of Kamloops’ BIGGEST HUMAN RAINBOW! Families are encouraged to dress monochromatically in their favourite colour and join us in photographing the spectacle of colour and participating in our vibrant dance party.
The VW Turtle River Race will be taking place concurrently at the park on Saturday.
What will you make at the Children’s Arts Festival? The sky’s the limit!
