We are holding a COVID responsive Grand Opening and Open House on Saturday June 26 from 10 am until 4:30 pm.Have you ever thought about how much you enjoyed making pottery in high school? Have you always thought you would like to try working in clay? Are you looking for something new to do this summer? Look no further, Clayline Pottery Studio is your answer!Clayline’s friendly founders, Jane Carss, Allan Carswell, Susan Crichton and Fern Helfand, bring a wide range of experience, interests and approaches to working with clay, from traditional wheel throwing to hand building and ceramic sculpture. Come on down to 523 Lawrence, just east of Ellis. We would love to meet you! We have over 2000 square feet of working space with brand new kilns and wheels. Take a tour of the facilities. See our up-cycled tables, ingenious clay-trap sinks, writable walls and re-purposed stainless steel glazing station. Watch a demonstration, play with some clay, learn about our scheduled courses, and talk with us about custom designing opportunities for you and your friends and colleagues. Talk to us about opportunities for team building, and monthly memberships that allow more experienced potters to work independently at their own schedule. There will also be pottery for sale and door prizes made by our founders and friends. Take advantage of our Grand Opening Special! Book a fun two hour, clay experience where you will be introduced to our studio and produce a finished piece of hand built tableware, which we will fire and glaze for you in the colour you select.
