Diane moved to Sun Peaks in 2010 with her husband Reid.Her inspiration for her paintings comes from all areas of her life. She has a vast array of subjects that she likes to paint, from winter scenes, to people and still life. Diane became interested in painting in 2005 and has been largely self taught, taking many workshops in Kamloops with renowned artist Debbie Milner Lively, Yvonne Reddick, David Langevin, and others. Starting out in Acrylics she eventually went onto oils and continues to use this as her main medium to convey her passion for painting.
