<p>Calling all past Kin for 100th Anniversary!Next week, the Kelowna Kinsmen will host a founder’s dinner that has been a century in the making.District 5 Kinsmen, Kinettes and K-40’s and more will converge at the historic Laurel Packinghouse in downtown Kelowna for an evening of fellowship and reminiscing starting at 6pm.The banquet is Saturday February 22, 2020, 6:00pm -11:30pm. Tickets are only available until Tuesday February 18th on the Eventbrite website. Get Tickets Here An open invitation is extended to all past, present and future Kin, especially those from throughout District 5 (B.C. & Yukon), to celebrate the remarkable accomplishments our clubs have made across this country in the last century. The invitation is open to anyone who may also have been a beneficiary of the Kin’s generosity in the past (other service organizations and non-profit groups) as well as widows of departed Kin members.The evening program includes: Magician Ryan Michael; Keynote Speaker, Jim Watson; Cystic Fibrosis and Kinsmen Foundation presentations; exquisite catered dinner, memorabilia tables, the filling of a “time capsule” for future Kin to open and a fun photo booth to capture all the memories.Additionally, a Fun Night of Reminiscing will take place on Friday February 21, starting at 8pm at a local venue (Central Kitchen + Bar) for our out-of-town visitors and local Kin. We will be handing out Free Coffee and Treats, (generously supplied by McDonalds’s) to passers-by. the 8th Kin KINd-ness Day is intended to encourage “Random Acts of KINDNESS” through the country.
