Diwali for a Cause Returns to Kelowna in Support of the KGH Foundation

Diwali for a Cause is returning to Kelowna for its third year, bringing the community together for an evening of culture, celebration, and giving back, all in support of mental health care in our region.

The event will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at the Kelowna Event Centre, beginning at 5:00 p.m. This year's celebration will proudly support the KGH Foundation, helping raise awareness and funds for mental health care in our region.

Diwali, also known as the Festival of Lights, is celebrated by millions of people around the world. It symbolizes the victory of light over darkness and is a time to share joy, express gratitude, and celebrate new beginnings. For the organizers of Diwali for a Cause, it's also an opportunity to share their culture and traditions with the community they call home.

Now in its third year, Diwali for a Cause welcomes people of all cultures and backgrounds, including families and children. Whether you've celebrated Diwali all your life or are experiencing it for the first time, everyone is invited to join in.

Guests can look forward to an evening of colourful cultural performances, delicious snacks, a buffet dinner, exciting door prizes, and opportunities to meet new people and make connections.

“Diwali reminds us that even in difficult times, a little light can make a difference. This year, that message feels especially meaningful as we come together to support mental health in our community. We want this celebration to be a place where everyone feels welcome, enjoys themselves, and knows they're helping support something important. We're grateful to be celebrating our third year with the community that has supported us along the way,” said the Diwali Organizing Team.

Tickets are $65 per person.
