It’s finally here! Click here to register: https://pentictonlibrary.ca/teendndregPenticton Public Library and Foundry Penticton have partnered up to deliver a brand new program that will provide teens the skills to become players and dungeon masters in the Dungeons & Dragons 5E system! What is Dungeons & Dragons? It’s a tabletop role-playing game where players create their own characters and tell a story collaboratively using their new identity under the guidance of a Dungeon Master. Read more about D&D here: https://dnd.wizards.com/dungeons-and-dragons/what-is-dd Our first meeting for this program will be a meet & greet. During the session we’ll be discovering what experience everyone has, introducing our DM (Dungeon Master) Mentor, distributing provisions (pens, notebooks, dice), dipping our toes into the world of role-playing, and creating characters together that we will use for the next five sessions. Please note: Due to limited space and the nature of Dungeons & Dragons, we would like to request that teens interested in this program are willing to commit to ALL of the six sessions. The dates for these sessions are:January 30February 13March March 12April 9May 14June 11This program is free and open to ages 13-18. Registration is REQUIRED. A registration form will be available on the Penticton Library website (www.pentictonlibrary.ca) on Wednesday, January 15 at 4:30 pm.
