Fairy From Away (Wednesday to Saturday)

The next pixy-dusted production from Showtime! Community Theatre is set for a four-night run beginning Dec. 13 at the Cannery Trade Centre.
“Fairy From Away,” is an original work of the Showtime! troupe, which is hitting the stage for the fourth time since forming in 2022 through the Okanagan School of the Arts.
“Terry the Fairy learns why she can never quite fit in, then embarks on an adventure to search for her birth mother, getting a much-needed makeover in the process,” explained organizers in a press release.
“Highlights include selections from Gilbert & Sullivan, David Bowie, Lady Gaga and more.”
It plays Dec. 13-17 on the Many Hats Theatre stage at Cannery Trade Centre. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30. Tickets cost $25 and are available online at www.okanaganschoolofthearts.com/newsandevents.According to the release, Showtime! Community Theatre “provides a vibrant outlet and training ground for adult amateur performers,” while its productions “blend existing songs with light-hearted, original scripts.”
