Furniture Painting 101

Do you have that piece of furniture you want to paint but maybe you’re nervous or don’t quite know where to start?! At the Furniture Refinishing & Bring Your Own Piece Workshop you will learn how to properly prep and paint your piece, and what top coat to use for extra protection.
The wonderful part of this workshop is that you will leave with a small piece of furniture completely transformed by YOU, in a Fusion Mineral Paint colour of your choice! We supply all necessary materials for you – all you need to bring is yourself, dressed to paint, and your prepped small piece of furniture!

ADDRESS: 542 Lawrenece Ave. Kelowna
INCLUDES: One pint of Fusion Mineral Paint in a colour of your choice, plus a FMP Paint Kit with 1” brush, 2 microfibre rollers, sanding pads, cloths and a tray.
PREP: Please clean and wash your piece with Fusion TSP Alternative, remove the hardware and degauss the piece by sanding your piece with 220 grit sandpaper at home

*** To ensure that you can finish during the workshop, furniture is restricted to smaller items that you can carry in and out by yourself, and that fit in the front seat of a car. A small table or nightstand is perfect. You could also bring a lamp, shelf, etc. If you have a large dresser that you want to do, you can bring in 2-3 drawers. If you are unsure if your piece is appropriate, feel free to message us a picture and measurements. The piece should be not larger than 22” wide, 22” high, 22” deep.
