As of April 03, 2017 WorkSafeBC requires that all potential joint health and safety committee members in BC must receive 8 hrs of instruction in joint health and safety committee training bc. Employers with 20 or more employees (overall within the business) are required by law to have a functioning JHSC committee in place at their workplace.
