Get your car washed in Vernon at 4607 – 29th Street Autoplex, behind Watkin Motors and help raise funds for South African grandmothers who are caring for their AIDS-orphaned grandchildren. Energetic grannies will lather your car clean for $15, wearing protective masks. Grannies’ handicrafts, baking and preserves will be set up for customers to browse while their cars are being cleaned (Masks are requested of customers while browsing).
