Interior Provincial Exhibition & Stampede
The Interior Provincial Exhibition (IPE) & Stampede is an exciting five-day agricultural fair that provides entertainment for all-ages. It is a premier event held each year in Armstrong, BC from Wednesday to Sunday over the Labour Day long weekend. As a grand showcase of our agricultural history, cultural and artistic talents, the IPE has become a meeting place for the Thompson Okanagan and Shuswap communities. The IPE welcomes more than 120,000 attendees, making it the 2nd largest fair in the province. The IPE offers 20 exhibition divisions, including dairy and beef cattle, goat, light and heavy horse, poultry, rabbits, swine, 4-H, baking/canning, sewing/quilting, floral, fruit, vegetables, honey, field and seed, wine and beer, and photography. The IPE also plays host to the CPR Rodeo Finals, Mini-Chuck Wagon races, the all-day Music Stage, West Coast Amusement Midway, West Coast Lumber show and much more.
