Underground by Local Losers in partnership with Vernon & District Performing Arts Centre Society features performances by local bands Ranger, Tidal Baby, and The Whelms. Ranger, an Indie Soul/Rock band led by guitarist and singer-songwriter Shane Ranger, blends smooth melodies with textured instrumentation. Tidal Baby delivers an energetic and modern take on instrumental music, evoking Link Wray and Dick Dale. The Whelms mixes country roots, punk, 70’s rock, grunge, and metal, creating eclectic, genre-defying sounds.
