Made in Italy Lecture Series

Matheson & Grove Gallery is delighted to announce that we will be hosting, ‘Made In Italy’,an exciting educational opportunity that includes lectures, continuing education courses and Italian conversation sessions. For people who attended the Made in Italy lecture series on architectural history at the Penticton Art Gallery in previous years, our professor needs no introduction. Dr. Antonella De Michelis’s lectures have been described in the most glowing terms by people who attended them. Happily, she has agreed to offer an all-new series of lectures. In addition you will be treated to authentic Italian nibbles created by Franco De Michelis, who is Antonella’s father and a professional chef. As well Judy Kingston, owner of Serendipity Winery, will be offering her fabulous wine. Then on Thursdays in the daytime starting in January 2020, Antonella will be leading two series of classes on selected topics in art history: Challenging the Canon of Art and Art That Rocked Our World.
