Marginalia – A Pop Up Exhibition and Jewelry Market

<p>Nicole Young and Salt + Sage Jewelry have teamed up for a weekend pop-up art exhibition and jewelry market! Located at the Courtney Ungaro Space and Design Studio at 986 Laurel Ave, Kelowna, BC (behind Canoe Coffee Roasters.)The exhibition and market starts with an opening reception on Thursday, November 28th from 7 pm to 9 pm. Enjoy snacks and refreshments while viewing brand new paintings by Nicole Young, and the latest collection of jewels from Salt + Sage. The exhibition and market will continue on Friday, November 29th and Saturday, November 30th from 11 am to 5 pm. This event is completely free and open to the public. They may be scribbles, comments, critiques, doodles, or illuminations. This exhibtion is titled as such because I am constantly making notes, scribbles and doodles in sketchbooks, my phone, and random scraps of paper. These notes are often completely out of context, referring to an idea of colour combinations or compositions that pop into my head at unexpected moments. Each painting in this pop up exhibition is a new work based on one of these out of context marginalia notes.</p>
