Yoga Nidra (translated as Yogic Sleep) is a guided relaxation that is highly accessible to anyone of any age. This guided relaxation carries profound healing and transformation and is a holistic approach to restoring and renewing the body, mind, and subtle energies.
Your only task is to lie down (or sit in a chair if that is better for you) and be guided into a journey through the Koshas (yogic bodies). You will be brought into the state between waking and sleeping where the mind is conscious but completely at peace. We’ll end our time together in Sound Journeying.
This class is typically offered in the afternoon to honour our circadian rhythm and our need to slow down and rest at this time of day.
