North Okanagan Optimist Club Monthly Meeting

Have you heard of our Club? You may be familiar with our many projects/events – Unplug and PLaY WEEK (coming up Apr 27 to May 3), a special Family Play Festival in Polson Park on May 3, Vernon & District Heritage Fair at the Schubert Centre on Friday, April 17, neighbourhood Play Boxes equipped with sports equipment at 43rd Street Tot Lot, Alexis Park, Heritage Park, Lakeview Park, Lavington Centennial Park and Sawicki Park (and opening in April), the Children’s Christmas Gift House, the Queen Silver Star Excellence Program sponsorship, Sunshine Festival booth (June 20) and the Scholarship for SD#22. Our Club is interested in finding more community minded members to help us do even more to bring out the best in children, our communities, and ourselves.
