Learn the fundamentals of Olympic and Power Lifting from Coach Ron Turner.
Focusing on the skills and techniques to master the main 6 lifts – Clean, Jerk, Snatch, Back Squat, BEnch Press and Deadlift along with the auxiliary lifts Overhead and Front Squat, this 12 week course will cover all the areas a traditional weightlifting course will have. (READ: Not CrossFit based).
This course is open to beginners to advanced and will be able to be scaled to your ability.
All altletes will be given video footage of the before / after lifts to show progress.
The classes will be held at 4145 Skaha Lake Road in Beach City CrossFit.
Coach Ron has coached oympic and power lifting for years, with some of his athletes attending provincials and nationals in both types of lifting. He has coached 2 National Record Holders in Master Womens Snatch and Clean & Jerk.
