Are you a BC-based aspiring emerging performer, agent, manager, promoter, or administrator interested in the live performing arts? Whether you’re a theatre performer, spoken word artist, comedian, dancer, magician, singer-songwriter, in a trio or in a band, we want to share the best tips & tricks for booking and touring your live show.Join the BC Touring Council (BCTC) for an informative and interactive weekend of conversation, meetings, roundtables, presentations and networking. We’ve put together a creative team of industry experts to help you plan, prepare & promote your way through the province. You’ll gain valuable skills and hear great advice about taking your live show on the road in BC and beyond! 5-Minute Showcase & Feedback Sessions: Artists have an opportunity to showcase and receive feedback from our trainer team. Showcases are popular and space is limited, so be sure to sign up when you register. There are two sessions each day of the workshop. We will notify those chosen to showcase at least 10 days prior to the event. Cost includes Meals & Membership: Registration is $60.76 (includes tax + service charges). Your fee includes membership with BCTC to October 31, 2020, as well as meals (breakfast on Sunday & lunch both days). Registration closes March 10.It’s free to register more than one: If you are an organization/group/band, you pay one fee for everyone who would like to attend. You MUST register each person (see additional registration for members and non-members). BCTC Members Attend FREE: Membership must be current for 2020.
