In 2015, Sebastián Carrasco, a TRU Adventure Program grad, had an accident that changed his life – he had a fall of 12 meters that produced a compression in his spinal cord, resulting in paraplegia. Sebastián hasn’t let his inability to walk keep him from wheeling up mountains. Carrasco climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest point on the African continent at 5,895 metres (19,340 feet) above sea level.Join us in learning Sebastián’s amazing story! This event is free for all students, faculty, staff and community members. Seating is first-come, first-serve.Follow us on Instagram (@truworld) to learn more about all the fun events happening during IDays 2020!
