OSA partners with Vancouver’s Universal Gospel Choir

On Saturday, August 13, the OSA is partnering with abeloved gospel group to host an exciting musical double-header in the Okanagan.Local singers are invited to practice stylized singing techniques as you learn some great songs from LonnieDelisle, director of Vancouver’s Universal Gospel Choir. Whether you’re a seasoned choral singer orsomeone who is just getting their choir feet wet, there will be something for everyone to learn and enjoy. Theworkshop will take place from 10 am to 2 pm at the Oasis United Church (2964 Skaha Lake Road). As abonus, two of the songs sung at the workshop will be performed by the Universal Gospel Choir at a concertat Naramata Centre that evening! The Universal Gospel Choir concert will be at Columbia Hall at Naramata Centre, and everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy. It will be a special, one-night-only show, filled with passion, diversity and joy. Doors open at 6:30 pm for a 7:00 pm performance. Entry will be by donation, with a $20 suggested donation.
