Partial Solar Eclipse Viewing

<p>Join us at Allan Brooks Nature Centre on Monday April 8th from 9:30 am to 1:30 pm for a partial solar eclipse viewing. The eclipse begins at 10:44 am and will take place for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes. <br />Vernon Telescope in cooperation with Allan Brooks Nature Centre will be on site to offer public viewing of the solar eclipse with a special telescope dedicated only to solar observation. <br />Donations will be accepted for the center at the front desk. <br />Vernon Telescope will have in stock Solar Eclipse Glasses for safe viewing, and they are $4 dollar each (Cash Only). <br />Solar Eclipse Glasses are 100% safe for direct viewing of the Sun and Solar Eclipses. ISO 12312-2 and CE Certified. We are approved by NASA and the American Astronomical Society. These glasses will filter 100% of harmful ultra-violet, 100% of harmful infrared, and 99.999% of intense visible light.</p>
