Let’s celebrate our amazing honoured guests with a Celtic flair.?? Meet one of our Entertainment Headliners: Six-Time World Champion Simon Fraser University Pipe Band!The six-time World Champion Simon Fraser University Pipe Band will take to the stage at the Cleland Theatre on March 11. This is a rare opportunity to experience an evening of exhilarating music with the world-renowned pipe band that has filled venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Lincoln Center, and the Sydney Opera House.The past 41 years has seen the band push the boundaries of the pipe band world and bring it to new heights in both the competition arena and the concert stage. Most recently, the SFU Pipe Band captured ‘the sash’ in August 2022 – the prize at the World Championships awarded to the best drum corps. The band is one of only four from outside of the United Kingdom to have captured the prestigious title of World Champions. Having done so a staggering six times makes SFU the most successful pipe band outside of Britain.But SFU is much more than a competition pipe band – they have performed concerts around the world and have produced twelve albums to date. The band has always delivered on its promise to blow away audiences with their combination of technical skill and unmatched creativity in their presentation of Scotland’s traditional music.??Community ticket requestsVisit our website to register for FREE tickets to this amazing concert.
