Two local organizations are coming together to help raise funds and awareness for mental health services in Kelowna. “Pins for Purpose” will take place at BNA Brewing Co. on Monday, March 25th. Proceeds from all bowling lanes booked for that day will be donated to Third Space Charity, which provides barrier-free resources to those in need. $45 allows up to 6 people on your lane for one hour and every dollar will contribute directly to funding programs vital to the well-being of our community. “We’re so pleased to be able to support Third Space in this way,” says Jill Jarrett of Nixon Hospitality, which owns and operates BNA Brewing Co. “Mental health truly affects us all and their work to make care accessible is something we’re incredibly proud to be able to contribute to.”
Bowling or not, participants are welcome and encouraged to gather at BNA, where they’ll also have access to bocce, arcade games, and representatives from Third Space who will be on site to answer questions.
“We are grateful to BNA for their generosity and commitment to mental health advocacy,” says Megan Woodruff, Third Space Charity Executive Director, “This partnership exemplifies the power of collaboration in addressing pressing social issues. Together, we can provide vital support to young adults in our community who are in need of our help.”
Organizers hope to fill the space with people having fun and contributing to this important work.
Tickets for the event may be purchased via Trellis. Space is limited, so early registration in encouraged to secure your lane.
