RCABC Rivers Weekend (Cancelled)

Cancelled due to COVID-19.Come join us for the Recreational Canoeing Association’s annual river canoeing weekend. This year the event will be returning to the Thompson-Shuswap region for a series of day trips over 4 days on some of the regions best rivers: the Adams, Shuswap, Thompson, and others. This is a free event an open to all. Our volunteer instructors and leaders will be leading beginner – advanced trips each day. You must have all of your own equipment and suitable previous experience. PFD’s and flotation are a must for any trip, and intermediate and advanced trips require helmets, additional flotation, and possibly wet or dry suits. We will of course help you find the right day trip for your skill level. We do suggest that you take a moving water canoe course first if you have never paddled on rivers before. We will offer tips and advice for newer paddlers though. We hope to see you on the river!
