Safely View the Partial Solar Eclipse at the Allan Brooks Nature Centre

<p>Join the Vernon Telescope, Nature & Science group as they explore the skies and this exciting astrological event: a Partial Solar Eclipse (elsewhere in the world: annular eclipse) <br />The Allan Brooks Nature Centre will be open early (8am) and will be welcoming guests to see this phenomenon until Noon. The Centre will remain open until 3:30pm as per normal. <br />HOW TO SAFELY WATCH A SOLAR ECLIPSE: <br />During any solar eclipse, it is imperative to wear special glasses with filters designed for eclipse watching (ISO international standard) to prevent eye damage. Regular sunglasses will not protect your eyes sufficiently.We will be selling “Lunt solar system” Solar Observation glasses for $6 each for safe observation!</p>
