Saturday Science by the Sea – Aquatic Ecospheres

Aquatic Ecospheres (Build your own aquatic ecospheres by layering gravel, plants, and small aquatic creatures in a clear container, creating a self-sustaining miniature ecosystem. This hands-on activity allows youth to explore the balance of nature and the importance of biodiversity!)

Pre-registration is preferred as supplies are limited. Pre-registering for these activities ensures your spot within the activity. If spots remain on the day of the activity then we will operate on a first come, first serve basis while supplies last.
Each activity will run for approx 30 minutes to 1 hour or until individual children have completed the activity. Parents/caregivers must remain with children during the activity at all times.
The cost of these activities is included with the cost of general admission into the science centre. Members are free.
Please arrive for the activities on time or your space may be released to other children within the science centre who wish to participate. Please visit the front desk of the science centre to check-in and an OSC team member will direct you to the activity!
