Shed The Light on Addiction – Christmas Open House & Light Up

Come on down to the Discovery House – Open House and help us Shed the Light on Addiction! Enjoy some fresh made baking and hot drinks including: hot apple cider, hot chocolate, coffee and tea. We will be selling Christmas bulbs to string up on the house at 633 Winnipeg St. from now until December 31st and will have the light up ceremony at 6pm on December 14th. Bulbs will sell for $10 each or strands of 25 for $250 each. Any donations over $20 will receive a tax deductible receipt. If you wish to purchase lights in memory of anyone who we’ve lost to addiction we will have a commemorative plaque made in their honour and given to the donor or family of your choice for any donations over $100. Additionally, you’ll receive a commemorative Shed the Light on Addiction flashlight pen that you can bring to the event and help us to spread awareness break the stigmas surrounding the treatment of those with this illness.
