Join us for the 10th annual Community Shred event! Protect yourself from identity theft by securely disposing of personal documents and confidential papers. Shredding services provided by Okanagan Paper Shredding ensure all materials are safely destroyed. All proceeds support Central Okanagan Crime Stoppers in keeping our community safe. Date: Saturday, May 2nd Time: 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. (or until the truck fills up) Location: Regional District of Central Okanagan parking lot, 1450 KLO Road Cost: $10 per bankers box (max 5 per household) Tax Receipts: Issued for donations over $20

The Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) is a local government which encompasses two unincorporated electoral areas and the member municipalities of Kelowna, Lake Country, Peachland and West Kelowna. The Regional District of Central Okanagan (RDCO) offers several community halls for venue rental and permits for special events, weddings, or large gatherings in regional parks. Key locations include the Ellison Heritage Community Centre and Killiney Beach Community Hall, with bookings managed through RDCO. Regional District of Central Okanagan.Available Venue Types & SpacesCommunity Halls: The Ellison Heritage Community Centre (4411 Old Vernon Road) and Killiney Beach Community Hall (516 Udell Road) are available for events.Regional Parks: Select regional parks are available for weddings and large gatherings, requiring a permit from the RDCO parks department.Meeting Rooms: The RDCO Woodhaven Boardroom is listed as a potential meeting venue.
