This program showcases the voices of the contemporary Russian and Ukrainian composers Rachmaninoff, Prokofiev, Shostakovich, Klebanov, Sivestrov, and Skoryk. Through their impassioned music we feel both the human suffering and pain that war creates, but also the hope and aspiration for peace to come.
