Sounds in Sand

The Kamloops Symphony adds a visual twist to this concert experience: Watch Russian sand artists Marina & Eva Sosnina craft elegant real-time artwork in sync with the music in a unique, intercontinental collaboration. This mother-daughter duo will “paint” along to a “modestly modern” arrangement of Mussorgsky’s classic Pictures at an Exhibition for chamber orchestra and create a brand-new work along to Canadian composer Iman Habibi’s Radiant Light.This performance will be available to view online from Saturday, March 13 to Sunday, April 11. Tickets are $15 for an Individual Pass, and $25 for a Household Pass.Ticket holders will be sent a link to view the performance. All ticket holders will have until April 11, 2021 to watch (and re-watch) the performance.
