SPLATSIN ANNOUNCES ORANGE SHIRT DAY EVENT

<p>Enderby, BC – Splatsin has announced the details for an event recognizing the National Day forTruth and Reconciliation, which consists of a commemorative walk, speakers, drumming, and aluncheon.<br />The Orange Shirt Day event will take place on Friday, September 30, 2022. The event is open tothe public and everyone is welcome to attend.</p> <p>ORANGE SHIRT DAY ACTIVITIES<br />FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 30, 2022- 10:00 a.m. Opening Remarks at the Enderby Chamber of Commerce- 10:30 a.m. Walk Begins from Enderby Chamber of Commerce toSplatsin Community Centre<br />– 12:00 p.m. Luncheon at Splatsin Community Centre<br />– 1:00 p.m. Ceremony Honouring Survivors<br />– 1:30 p.m. Speakers<br />– 2:00 p.m. Ceremony Closes<br />All attendees are requested to wear an Orange Shirt. Shirts may be purchased on September 30at the Splatsin Community Centre from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Before September 30, shirts may bepurchased at the Splatsin Tsm7aksaltn Society located at 2730 Canyon Rd.
