St Andre’s Day Concert

SAINT ANDREW’S DAY CONCERT WITH PERFORMANCES BY THE NORTH OKANAGAN PIPES AND DRUMS AND THE SADOK UKRAINIAN DANCE ENSEMBLE.
North Okanagan Pipes and Drums (NOPD) and the Sadok Ukrainian Dance Ensemble will be providing an evening of Scottish Music and Ukrainian Dancing to celebrate their Patron Saint Andrew on Friday, November 29th at 7:00pm at the Schubert Centre, DIAMOND Room.
Saint Andrew’s Day, also called the Feast of Saint Andrew or Andermas, is the feast day of Andrew the Apostle. It is celebrated on 30 November (according to Gregorian calendar) and on 13 December (according to Julian calendar).
NOPD and Sadok will entertain the guests with an amazing program of traditional Scottish tunes and Ukrainian dances which include Pryvit, (Welcome Dance) and their trademark finale, Hopak, among others. Joining them with be dancers from the Aviemore School of Highland Dance under the Direction of Cheryl Rosborough.
