Ongoing Rider Development clinic series with Alberta based Tipton Horsemanship offering an industry unique Team Teaching approach. “Ancient Principles for Modern Performance”Ian Tipton is a teacher and trainer, spanning all disciplines, based on balance and self carriage horsemanship principles from centuries past. From Moorish and Spanish teachings, Ian’s style guides horses and riders how to be light, responsive to signal, to allow the horse absolute freedom of movement, without reliance on gimmicks or gadgets. Lisa Blanchard is a coach, mentor and active judge with a strong focus on youth and adult amateur Rider Development, western dressage, equitation and show preparation. Offering developmental horsemanship clinics suitable for all types of horses and riders. Specializing in classical training based on the ancient Principles which will enhance all disciplines. From dressage to reining, working cow horse to jumpers, this approach will help all riders improve their mounts! Ian and Lisa both strive to be current and active in their education and riding careers. Showing nationally and coaching internationally, riding with masters in Spain and Portugal, both are open and approachable in their teaching and training.
