Swingin’ into Spring (Lindy Hop Workshop)

Jump into the Lindy Hop with both feet! The TRUSU Swing Dance Club and Lindy in the Loops are thrilled to present Swingin’ into Spring 2020. Learn to Lindy Hop or improve your skills with two days of engaging lessons, and take in a social dance complete with cabaret on Friday night and a live band dance featuring the incomparable Read Fenton and His Happy Hep Cats on Saturday night! Instructors Edina and Eric Shaw are travelling from Vancouver to provide their enthusiastic and encouraging teaching, and local teachers Justin Mufford and Bonnie Cleland have plenty of sweet Lindy knowledge to share as well. Dances will take place at Desert Gardens in downtown Kamloops and workshop lessons will be held at Akimbo Dance Studios in Northills Mall, North Kamloops. Classes will run mid-late morning to mid-late afternoon on Saturday and Sunday. Want to know more?
