Teck Highland Valley Copper Open House

Teck Highland Valley Copper is hosting an Open House on Sunday, August 4, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. This family day is open to all ages, with some age restrictions on a few tours. The Open House will showcase many aspects of HVC, including: • Four varieties of tours of the mining operation • Department exhibit booths and equipment displays • Interactive booths from community partners • Children’s entertainment and Uncle Chris the Clown • Fund-raising games for the RIH Foundation • Mine Rescue demonstrations • Hot dogs, refreshments, and so much more! Everyone is welcome to attend, and no booking is required. Please leave your pets at home and make sure to bring a refillable water bottle. As we will be in an industrial setting, no open-toed footwear will be allowed on the Mill tour.
