Join Zoe Cillers, our Printmaking Artist in Residence for this one time only workshop. Intaglio is a printmaking technique which prints engraved depressions in a surface (rather than a raised relief, as in linocut or woodblock prints). This short course will introduce the historically important art form of etching and students will learn how to create, ink and print their own using tetrapak material. This technique produces rich, highly textured and variable prints. No past experience with printing is necessary. Students should bring an apron.
