TRU Repair Café

In the spirit of Earth day, Transition Kamloops is excited to announce the upcoming Repair Cafe event which aligns perfectly with this year’s theme: Planet vs. Plastics. By repairing items, we not only give them a second life but also support the global movement to reduce plastic waste entering our landfills.
Kamloops residents can their bring their beloved but broken items for free help to diagnose and repair them. The event will take place on Saturday, April 20th, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Heritage House, located in Riverside Park (100 Lorne Street).
The Repair Café promotes repair as an alternative to throwing things out. Kamloopsians are invited to bring their broken items from home — be it furniture, electrical appliances, bicycles, crockery, appliances, toys, or textiles. (Sorry, but computers and cellphones are not accepted.)
