VegFest Kelowna 2024

Kelowna’s fourth annual VegFest is coming up on Sunday, September 22nd from 10 am to 4 pm at the Westbank Lions Community Centre (2466 Main Street in West Kelowna). Entry is by donation with all net proceeds going directly to support two local charities: EcoCooks & Star’s Piggly Wiggly’s Sanctuary. The first 100 attendees will receive a goody bag! VegFest Kelowna invites everyone of all ages, wherever you may be in your dietary journey, to explore and celebrate good health, a clean environment, and compassion for all animals in a full day festival of fun-filled activities and education.Over 50 indoor and outdoor vendors and food trucks will showcase their sensational plant-based food options, apparel and accessories, cruelty-free beauty and health products, and sustainable merchandise.Live local musicians, speakers, and educational workshops are also scheduled throughout the day to share information about plant-powered protein, health and nutrition, animal activism, how to make delicious vegan cheezes, yoga, and more!”VegFest Kelowna is a celebration of the abundance of vegan options available to us in the Okanagan,” said Chelsea Travere, Chair of VegFest Kelowna. “By bringing together local businesses and the community, we hope to inspire and empower people to make small, daily choices that collectively create a big impact for animals, the planet, and our health.”VegFest Kelowna is raising funds for two local charities:EcoCooks is on a mission to empower youth to take climate action by connecting how our food choices impact the planet.
